What They Do and What They Offer

ISPH Summer Camp is a seasonal educational and activity programme offered by The International School @ ParkCity Hanoi (ISPH) — a British-curriculum international school in Hanoi, Vietnam serving learners from early years through secondary levels. The Summer Camp is designed to provide a structured, enriching holiday experience that blends English language development, STEAM learning, physical skills and soft skills growth with fun, creative activities in a supportive school environment.

Purpose and Educational Focus

The primary purpose of the ISPH Summer Camp is to help children stay active, explore new ideas and develop confidence over the summer break through a combination of academic learning, creative projects and skill-building activities. The camp emphasises English communication, teamwork, creativity and personal growth rather than solely traditional classroom study, creating a balance between fun and purposeful development.

Age Groups and Participation Options

The Summer Camp is offered in two main formats to suit different age groups:

  • A 4-week programme (07 July – 01 August 2025) for children aged 3–5 years old, focusing on early childhood exploration, play-based language and outdoor activities.
  • A 2-week programme (07 July – 18 July 2025) for students aged 5–15 years old, designed to offer a broader experience with academic enhancement, creative learning and physical skills development.

These options allow families to choose a camp duration and focus that best suits their child’s age and developmental needs.

Location and Schedule

The summer camp takes place at The International School @ ParkCity Hanoi, located on Le Trong Tan Street, Ha Dong District, Hanoi, Vietnam. Camp activities run Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, providing a full-day programme with a mix of indoor and outdoor learning experiences, creative projects and structured activities.

Curriculum and Learning Activities

For the 2-week programme aimed at ages 5–15, camp activities are designed to strengthen academic and communicative English skills through tasks such as presentations, storytelling and debates. The curriculum also includes:

  • Hands-on STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) to spark creativity and innovation
  • Survival swimming and improved swimming techniques to enhance water safety and fitness
  • Soft skills development such as emotional regulation, teamwork and problem-solving
  • Exploration of AI and technology in a safe, guided context

These activities are structured to build both cognitive and practical skills while maintaining a joyful, exploratory atmosphere. For the 4-week early years programme (ages 3–5), emphasis is placed on English through storytelling and drama, outdoor exploration and team-based social skills activities appropriate to early childhood learning and play.

Skills Development and Personal Growth

ISPH Summer Camp is designed not only for academic enrichment but also for personal development. Through diverse activities, students can:

  • Build confidence in communication and public speaking
  • Enhance creative thinking and innovation through STEAM projects
  • Improve physical skills through swimming and movement activities
  • Strengthen teamwork, leadership and emotional regulation
  • Learn technology concepts, including safe use of AI tools

The camp’s focus on these competencies supports holistic growth and prepares children for both academic and real-world challenges in the future.

Camp Experience and Social Engagement

Part of the camp’s value lies in its social component. Participation provides opportunities for children to make new friends, collaborate with peers and enjoy shared experiences in group activities. Photos and reports from past camps emphasise joy, teamwork and personal growth as key elements of the experience, with campers engaging actively and creating lasting summer memories.
